Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking enthusiastic individuals for kitchen roles at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. Successful candidates will be responsible for washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen team. We're looking for team players willing to work flexible hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma.
• Flexible schedule required for overtime, day and night shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, including floors, walls, tables, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure trash containers are cleaned and emptied regularly.
• Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment properly.
• Report any equipment damage to the supervisor.
• Comply with safety and health standards.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team in organizing supplies.
• Assist in setting up events or special services.
• Help receive and store kitchen supplies.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Your Role

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, including floors, walls, tables, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure that trash containers are cleaned and emptied regularly.
• Properly operate dishwashing machines, sinks, and cleaning equipment.
• Immediately report any damage or malfunctioning of equipment to the supervisor.
• Comply with safety and health standards set by the company and local authorities.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately when needed.
• Follow safety policies for handling chemicals and disinfectants.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team in organizing and storing supplies.
• Assist in setting up events or special services, ensuring the availability of clean equipment.
• Help receive and store kitchen supplies.
• Perform all instructions and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor, as well as any additional responsibilities required by the position.
