Job summary

Legends Global, in partnership with ASM Global, has an opening at Fishers Event Center for a part-time Steward in the Food & Beverage department. Responsibilities include cleaning china, glassware, silver, serving equipment; assisting with plate-up and delivery for functions; setting up and breaking down banquet buffets.

The role involves maintaining cleanliness of kitchens and work areas, and hands-on interaction with staff.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
• Ability to work with staff to achieve function goals.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and meet timelines.
• Must adhere to local Food Codes.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of all food to prospective functions.
• Delivery, set-up, and breakdown of all equipment to prospective functions.
• Pickup and delivery of hot boxes and products from all concession areas for all events.
• Maintenance of equipment in all pantries, concession areas, and storage locations.
• Cleanliness in both kitchens.
• Running and maintenance of the main dish machine.
• Position is very hands-on with frequent interaction with staff.
• Must be quick with counting and simple arithmetic.
• Other duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a part-time Steward.This positionis responsible forall Stewarding functions across the venue. Duties include cleaning allchina, glassware, silver, and serving equipment;facilitatingthe plate-up and delivery of food for all functions; and the setup and breakdown of all banquet buffets. This role also ensures the cleanliness and organization of all food preparation and service areas, including the main kitchen,concessionskitchen, and back hallways.

** Education and/or Experience **

• At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment.

• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

• Must adhere to local Food Codes.
