Role Description

The Steward is a full-time, on-site role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, supporting the food and beverage operations with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas in accordance with hotel and health standards. The Steward assists with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies; removes waste and recyclables; and ensures that kitchen and dishwashing stations are well stocked and orderly. The role collaborates closely with culinary and restaurant teams to support smooth service during peak periods and special events. The Steward is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain professional conduct, and contribute to a positive, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational Food & Beverage and Food Service knowledge, including basic hygiene, safety, and handling practices.
