Description

Sterling Pointe, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Chef/Cook to join our team. Located near Highway 169 in Princeton, across from Fairview Northland Medical Center and Princeton High School, Sterling Pointe offers Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services in a 57-unit apartment-style community. We are a growing community with a fun, caring, and passionate team. Join us today!

Shifts: Full-Time (6am-7pm with every other weekend rotation), 12-hour shifts

Wage: $17.50-$22.50

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
  • Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils.
  • Check trays for menu and diet accuracy and preferences.
  • Ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
  • Review and process diet changes and adhere to menu procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior living setting preferred.
  • Ability to relate professionally and positively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Advanced computer skills, including email use.
