Job summary

Wesco in Pittsburgh seeks an OMS Support Architect with deep expertise in IBM Sterling OMS to lead architectural design, implementation support, and ongoing platform optimization.

You will drive end-to-end order management capabilities—sourcing, inventory visibility, order hub and orchestration—while partnering with business stakeholders, development teams, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable OMS solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-9+ years of IBM Sterling OMS experience, focusing on Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, and Orchestration.
• 2+ years leading onshore/offshore teams in a Tech Lead or Architect capacity, driving requirements and delivery.
• Experience designing OMS solutions, deciding config vs customization, and optimizing performance.
• Experience deploying or supporting OMS in cloud environments (IBM Cloud preferred).
• Strong understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs, and end-to-end order management processes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and OMS implementation support.
• Support and optimize OMS capabilities including Sourcing, Inventory Visibility, Order Hub, and Order Orchestration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot end-to-end order lifecycle transactions across OMS and connected apps.
• Lead solution design and evaluate configuration vs customization approaches.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate to scalable OMS solutions.
• Guide development and QA teams with technical guidance and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze integration failures, data flows, and transactions to determine root causes.
• Design and support integrations between OMS, ERP, WMS, eCommerce, EDI, and supply chain platforms.
• Document architecture, processes, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Drive platform improvements, scalability, and performance.
• Coordinate onshore/offshore teams for OMS initiatives.
