Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of overall Information Technology experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and enhancing Sterling Order Management applications across retail environments.
• 3+ years of experience with the IBM Sterling Order Management Suite, including demonstrated subject matter expertise.
• Experience delivering at least two full lifecycle implementations (requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and optimization).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Sterling Order Management, Web Store, Call Center, and inventory modules.
• Design, develop, and enhance solutions supporting order capture, sourcing, fulfillment orchestration, inventory visibility, payments, cancellations, returns, and customer care workflows.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design documentation.
• Build and maintain integrations between Sterling OMS and external systems, including upstream/downstream applications, cloud platforms, and middleware solutions.
• Improve system stability, performance, and scalability of Sterling OMS applications.
• Conduct design and code reviews and promote development best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot system and process issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
