Responsibilities include collecting and decontaminating used instruments, operating sterilization equipment, preparing items for procedures, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize instruments for daily use.
• Collect used and contaminated equipment for sorting and decontamination.
• Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
• Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
• Maintain records of sterilization procedures and inventory.
