Overview

Position Summary

Responsible for handling, decontamination, packaging, documentation, and sterilization of supplies, equipment, and instruments supporting production activities across departments. Ensures visual and functional inspection of tooling, manages aseptic transfer, maintains workflow efficiency, and supports inventory and sanitation protocols.

Work Schedule

M-F 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Responsibilities

1. Inspect, decontaminate, sterilize, and document all tooling and medical device kits, with potential exposure to noncompliant organisms.
2. Perform decontamination and sterilization of equipment and supplies, including autoclave operation and FIFO restocking.
3. Coordinate removal and decontamination of used tooling and materials from processing areas.
4. Ensure aseptic transfer of donors and supplies within processing areas.
5. Support supply flow and inventory management, maintaining FIFO and minimizing waste.
6. Sanitize processing areas and equipment per disinfection standards.
7. Package materials for processing departments and support aseptic transfer procedures.
8. Operate ATP Fluid Handling equipment and manage inventory of supplies and garments.
9. Maintain documentation of sterilization activities and support bio-waste management.
10. Transport instrumentation and support special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Tissue Banking, Sterile Processing, or Surgical Technology.
• At least 1 year in a sterile environment within medical or pharmaceutical fields.
• Experience with hand tools and procedures requiring hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
