Job summary

Accede Solutions Inc in Modesto, CA is seeking a Surgical Instrument Technician to support the sterile processing department. The role requires decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization and storage of reusable instruments, plus reprocessing equipment per manufacturer guidelines.

You will work under the Central Service Team Leaders, collaborate with the OR team, and bring at least 1 year of instrumentation experience, basic computer skills, and CRCST or CBSPD

Qualifications

• CRCST or CBSPD certification required by manager.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instruments and equipment.
• Reprocess reusable surgical equipment, instrumentation, and scopes according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and storage of processed sterile supplies.
• Support the surgical team and sterile core.
• Work under the supervision of Central Service Team Leaders and the Central Service Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the operating room team to support surgical and procedural areas.

• Central Service Technician certification is required within one year of hire.
• Manager specifically requires CRCST or CBSPD.
