Overview

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hour

Are you a caring, hard-working, and reliable team player? Would you describe yourself as organized? Do you have a desire to learn and grow? If you answered yes to these questions, joining "Children's Dental Surgery Center" as a Sterilization Technician is the career for you!

This is a great entry-level position ideal for individuals interested in a career in health care or working in a dental office. As a Sterilization Technician, you will be a part of our back office team responsible for sterilizing instruments, instruments, and rooms. No prior experience is needed as training will be provided on the job!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 630am- 3:00pm or 7:30am -4:00pm

Location: 2160 Noll Drive Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603

Responsibilities
  • Prepare work areas for treatments and procedures
  • Disinfect and sterilize instruments, equipment, chairs, counters and surfaces, using sterilizers, aerators, or washers
  • Check sterile supplies to ensure that they are not outdated
  • Deliver tools to specified locations in the office
  • Maintain records of inventory or tool usage and relay information to office manager to replenish supplies when inventory is low
  • Stock dental supplies
Qualifications
  • Proficient in English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work well in a team or independently
