Job summary

Eastern Dental is seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician in Cinnaminson, NJ. You will process and sterilize instruments, operate autoclave, manage inventory, and maintain infection control standards to ensure patient safety.

Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow protocols, and reliability are essential. High school diploma required; prior dental experience preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities to contribute to a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize dental instruments following infection control protocols.
• Operate autoclave and other sterilization equipment safely.
• Clean, inspect, and package instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain detailed records of sterilization cycles and maintenance.
• Follow CDC and OSHA infection control guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor sterilization equipment and report issues promptly.
• Manage instrument inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
• Keep the sterilization area organized, clean, and efficient.
• Support clinical staff by ensuring instruments are available when needed.
• Monitor expiration dates on sterilized instruments and rotate stock.
• Maintain sterilization logs and quality control documentation.
