Job summary

Qualifications

• Operates FMC rotary sterilizers and records data at prescribed intervals.
• Monitors critical control points and ensures adherence to thermal process requirements.
• Maintains equipment within expected parameters and checks sampling for flavor, texture, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, monitor critical control points and record required information at prescribed intervals.
• Start up machinery and run pilot samples to check heat stability prior to sterilizing.
• Shutdown machinery and complete logs/ charts and records.
• Lubricate equipment and clean the work area, including sterilizers.
• Maintain proper chlorine concentrations in process cooling water.
• Perform sensory checks on finished goods and rework as needed.
• Check initial temperatures of every mix and conduct boilout/ logout procedures.
• Determine stabilizer quantity as necessary.
• Execute SAP transactions when required.
