Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Medical Supply Technician at Napa State Hospital in Napa, CA. The role involves sterilizing, processing, and distributing medical equipment for a state institution and maintaining aseptic conditions under RN supervision.

The position requires a Sterilization Processing Certificate and a high school diploma or GED, with English literacy essential for job performance. Day shift 6:30–7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Sterilization Processing Certificate Required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Ability to read and write English at a level required for a successful job performance
• Ability to clean and care for medical and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Ability to learn decontamination and sterilization and proper aseptic techniques, stock rotation, and the organization of medical supply department
• Ability to operate automatic sterilization equipment
• Ability to recognize surgical/medical equipment necessary to fill requisitions
• Ability to take instructions and follow established procedures

Responsibilities

• Sterilize, process, and distribute medical equipment and supplies for a state institution
• Maintain acceptable standards of cleanliness and asepsis
• Work under the general supervision of the Supervising Registered Nurse
