The University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM) seeks a Sterilization-Dispensary Assistant to join the Oral Health Center. You will support clinical faculty, dental students, and staff by preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and supplies.

The University of New England College of Dental Medicine ( UNE CDM ) is seeking a Sterilization-Dispensary Assistant to join our Oral Health Center ( OHC ). The OHC Sterilization-Dispensary Assistant supports the clinical faculty, dental students, and other clinical support staff. This position reports to the Manager of Central Sterilization and Dental Assisting with a focus on preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position with an anticipated pay rate of $19.27 an hour.
High School diploma and any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Employees in clinical settings must meet the State of Maine’s immunization requirements and UNE’s health and immunization standards for dental health care personnel. Must be medically cleared, fit tested, and trained on proper respirator (N95, Powered Air Purifying Respirator ( PAPR )) use.
