Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Sterile Supply Technician to manage the daily reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation, including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization and storage, in line with professional standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a Central Sterile Technician certification; strong math skills and clear communication with hospital staff are essential; FTE position with variable hours/days.

Responsibilities

In this role the Sterile Supply Technician is responsible for the daily operations of all activities that relate to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization and storage processes within all applicable professional standards.
