SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY seeks an hourly/per diem TH CTS Sterile Supply Associate to maintain and stock operating room supplies, monitor par levels, and support the surgical team to ensure smooth patient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma and basic computer knowledge; warehouse/distribution experience is preferred. This part-time position offers flexible shifts and the chance to contribute to an efficient, safe hospital environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma is required.
• Some computer knowledge is required.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and stock operating room supply areas.
• Report items above/below par levels.
• Check inventory using min-max methods.
• Monitor rotation and expiration of supplies in the supply room and operating room.
• Communicate supply needs with staff.
• Accept and sign for supplies received from Central Sterile and Central Stores.
• Transport supplies and equipment within the department.
• Develop professional rapport with physicians, nurses, and staff.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
