Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Production Scheduler to translate the master schedule and client demand into an executable daily plan across sterile manufacturing suites. You will balance cleanroom capacity, personnel readiness, equipment changeovers, and material readiness while protecting batch genealogy and client commitments.

The role requires 3+ years in pharmaceutical scheduling, experience with ERP/APS systems, and strong Excel and cross-functional communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of production scheduling/planning experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or sterile/aseptic manufacturing; CDMO experience preferred.
Experience with ERP/APS systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, PlanetTogether, Kinaxis) and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain rolling detailed production schedules for dispensing, compounding, filling lines, visual inspection, and packaging suites.
Sequence batches to minimize changeover time and downtime while respecting product segregation.
Adjust schedules in real time due to deviations, downtime, material delays, or priority changes; communicate impacts promptly.
Model capacity constraints and coordinate with Manufacturing/Engineering on preventive maintenance and calibration to minimize disruption.
