Job summary

August Bioservices in Nashville, TN seeks a Production Scheduler to translate the master production schedule into executable, detailed plans for sterile manufacturing suites, balancing cleanroom availability, personnel, equipment changeovers, and material readiness.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Facilities/Engineering and Client Services to maximize throughput while protecting product quality and client commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3+ years of production scheduling/planning in pharmaceutical/biotech sterile manufacturing; CDMO preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic processing concepts; experience with ERP/APS systems (SAP/Oracle/JDE).
• Strong Excel skills and cross-functional communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain rolling detailed production schedules (daily/weekly/monthly horizons) for dispensing, formulation, filling, inspection, and packaging.
• Sequence batches to minimize changeover time and gowning transitions while respecting product segregation.
• Adjust schedules in real time in response to deviations, downtime, material delays, or client priority changes.
• Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Client Services, and Manufacturing to ensure material readiness and timely delivery.
