Job summary

Qualifications

• Heavy work expected including lifting up to 50 lbs and more in some cases.
• Completion of a post-secondary certificate program is required or preferred for Sterile Processing.
• Strong adherence to infection control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument processing: assembles, labels, and prepares instruments for sterilization; tests instruments and operates sterilizers with proper documentation.
• Maintains sterile supply storage area and tracks supplies; receives and distributes items per policy.
• Attends mandatory in-services and completes required competency assessments on time.
