Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Weatherford is hiring a Certified Sterile Processing Tech to join our outpatient surgical team in Weatherford, Texas. You will maintain and care for all surgical instruments, and prepare supplies for surgery cases with a weekday-only schedule.

Our facility features 3 operating rooms and 1 treatment room, part of a USPI joint venture. We value quality patient care, professional growth, and a supportive work environment with predictable hours and no on-call

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
