Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare - Dallas is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the team and maintain all surgical instruments.

You will prepare supplies for surgery cases, handle sterilizers, and support OR staff with timely instrument readiness; prior experience and certification are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred
• Sterile processing certification required
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
