12pm - 3:30pm / Full Time / 40 Hours

Salary range - $17.95 - $24.86

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for Emory TEC Clinic Hospital, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of surgical instruments and patient care.

This individual will:

• Support the reprocessing of surgical instruments in compliance with standards and policies.
• Manage activities related to decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of medical supplies.
• Assist in new employee orientation and training, promote Lean principles, and communicate professionally.
• Report equipment issues and supply levels, and adhere to dress and conduct standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program (preferred).
• Basic computer skills and certification in sterile processing (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) or two years of experience.
• Extensive knowledge of instrumentation.
• Ability to assist staff with instrument identification and assembly.
