Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean, disinfect, decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The role supports operating room readiness and patient safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of sterile processing experience preferred, and completion of a recognized training program. Shift is Days with potential for growth and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
• Completion of a recognized Central Sterile Processing training program preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

Summary:

Receives, cleans, sterilizes and stores surgical instruments and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.
