Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure the safe cleaning, disinfection, decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. You will also handle proper disposal of biohazardous waste and document QA inspections.

The role requires attention to infection control, accuracy, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. A high school diploma is required, and prior sterile processing experience is preferred.

• Requires ability to clean, disinfect, decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Strong attention to infection control and patient safety standards.
• Experience with quality assurance testing and documentation is preferred.
