Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain floor care, clean patient rooms, and replenish supplies in a hospital environment. The role requires adherence to sanitation standards and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include sanitation of equipment, waste removal, and ongoing cleaning of patient areas during night shifts at our Florida facilities.

Qualifications

• No degree required; healthcare or hospitality experience preferred.
• Ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to perform under stress and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floor care program per policies and procedures.
• Clean patient rooms and assigned areas daily; collect trash and change bed linens.
• Replenish supplies and linen as needed in patient rooms.
• Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of medical equipment as required.
• Handle additional environmental services duties as assigned.
