Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our operating support team. You will receive, clean, sterilize, and store surgical instruments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Evenings shift with occasional on-call requirements. High school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior sterile processing experience or formal training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• One (1) year of Sterile Processing Technician experience preferred.
• Completion of a recognized Central Sterile Processing training program preferred.

Schedule is Monday - Friday with weekend Call on rotation

• Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances, chemicals, medical waste, and supplies.
• Performs and documents required quality assurance testing and inspections.
• Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and substances.
