Job summary

Qualifications

• Central Sterile Technician Certification preferred.
• LVN, CMA or related field preferred.

• Familiar with basic medical terminology.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, assembling, wrapping, and issuing sterile supplies in the Central Sterile area of the operating room.
• Process instruments and equipment using steam, gas and chemicals.
• Ensure that tools used in operating rooms are safe and infection-free.
