Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks Sterile Processing Technicians for full-time and part-time roles at the Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. Schedules include rotating weekends with 3:00 pm–11:30 pm or 11:00 pm–7:30 am shifts; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; substitutions may apply.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift >50 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, sterilizes, and transports equipment, supplies and instruments.
• Decontaminates the full range of reusable patient care equipment and supplies.
• Operates sterilizing equipment and related devices; uses detergents and disinfectants.
• Prepares packages and labels according to prescribed procedures; wraps and seals per standards.
• Maintains tracking software and sterilization records; ensures accurate documentation.
• Gathers used supplies and returns them after sterilization; handles exchange carts and maintains distribution records.
