Qualifications

• CRCST certification required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience required.
• Associates degree in healthcare preferred; college courses may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Perform reprocessing: decontamination, sterilization, assembly, case carts, storage and distribution of medical supplies.
• Decontaminate range of reusable patient care equipment and medical supplies.
• Sterilize instruments, equipment, linens using steam or gas sterilizers and antiseptics.
• Operate semi-automatic to automatic sterilizers and related equipment.
• Prepare packages and lists, label, and seal per standards; track contents in central system.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, work area and sterilization equipment; report issues.
