Job summary

Qualifications

• Maintain 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) per year as required by NYS Law.
• Entry level but 1-3 years’ experience in a Sterile Processing Department is preferred.
• Ability to achieve certification in Sterile Processing within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate all required equipment and machinery accurately and safely.
• Prepare, assemble, and sterilize instruments according to health and safety standards.
• Maintain records and monitor quality control and infection standards.
