Qualifications

• Six months of experience or one year of health care related education as described in basic requirements.
• Knowledge of universal precautions, sterile processing, and safety.
• Experience with decontamination, sterilization, and inspection of reusable medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, sterilize and inspect reusable medical equipment (RME).
• Assemble basic sets and trays for use in the medical center.
• Operate sterilizers and load operating room case carts; ensure FIFO stock rotation.
