Responsibilities

• Contaminates, cleans, assembles, packages, scans, sterilizes, stores and distributes reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Monitors wash solutions to ensure quality for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
• Sorts mismatched instrument sets and makes them available to sterile processing customers in a timely manner.
• Re-stocks and maintains inventory; submits requisitions and distributes instruments, trays, crash carts, and facility medical equipment.
