Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking central service technicians to sterilize, clean, assemble and store medical supplies for patient care. You will be part of the sterile processing team, ensuring instruments are properly prepared and distributed as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Central Service Technician course preferred
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization.
• Computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Cleans, inspects, assembles and sterilizes instruments and other materials according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
• Stores, rotates and ensures the instruments and other items are labeled correctly.
• Distributes clean and retrieves soiled instruments, rental equipment and other materials on a scheduled or emergency basis
