Position Summary / Career Interest: Under the direction of the Sterile Processing Manager, the Sterile Processing Technician processes the instrumentation utilized in the operating room and ancillary areas according to regulatory standards and appropriate internal standards. The role provides and customer-focused service to all Health System team members, leadership and medical staff and to the patients/visitors.
High School Graduate or GED Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technologist experience or current enrollment or completion of a Sterile Processing Certification or Surgical Tech program
Certified Registered Central Service Technician(CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) within 1 Year
Certified Registered Central Service Technician(CRCST) - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) upon Hire Certificate or Degree from a Surgical Tech Program
