Indiana University Health is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician II for the Riley Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and distributing medical supplies and equipment used in patient care. Qualifications

  • Certification must be active with no provisional certifications.
  • 18 CE credits annually related to the CS field.
  • Ability to serve as a preceptor for Sterile Processing.

  • Clean, wrap, sterilize, store, and distribute equipment used in patient care.
  • Provide orientation and training to Sterile Processing staff.
  • Facilitate daily functions in accordance with hospital policies.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active CRCST/CSPDT/CFER national certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (no provisional certifications).
  • 18 CE credits annually related to the CS field.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills for Tech II role.
  • Ability to serve as a preceptor for Sterile Processing.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of endo instrumentation is preferred.
  • Relevant healthcare experience.
Qualifications:
  • Active CRCST/CSPDT/CFER certification or CST from NBSTSA.
