The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for maintaining infection control standards as related to the decontamination and re-processing of equipment and instruments used in patient care throughout the organization. This role ensures that all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are properly inventoried, decontaminated, assembled, inspected, packaged, sterilized, stored, and distributed in a timely manner throughout the hospital.
The ideal candidate must be able to work well with a team and independently with little supervision. Candidate will need to be available to work Days, Evenings, and Nights. (Shift differentials paid on applicable shifts)
