Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Fairlawn, OH is seeking a PRN Sterile Processing Technician to join our operating room support team. You will decontaminate, clean, sterilize and assemble surgical instrumentation, ensuring everything is ready for patient care.

This role offers flexible PRN scheduling and opportunities to work with a dedicated, five-star orthopedics team. Principals: High school diploma or Sterile Processing degree; 1-2 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Sterile Processing degree.
• 1–2 years of sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clean and sterile supplies and equipment through decontamination, cleaning, packaging, sterilization and storage with inventory of all surgical instrumentation.
• Clean, sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques
• Support surgical patient care team by performing multifunctional activities including setting up instrument trays, maintaining proper documentation, and daily records

Description

The Essentials:

Schedule: PRN - Variable - Minimum 24 hours in a 4-week period

What you’ll do:

• Provide clean and sterile supplies and equipment through decontamination, cleaning, packaging, sterilization and storage with inventory of all surgical instrumentation.
• Clean, sterilize and assemble equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques
• Support surgical patient care team by performing multifunctional activities including setting up instrument trays, maintaining proper documentation, and daily records

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or degree in Sterile Processing
• Experience: One to Two years of sterile processing experience preferred
