Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a healthcare setting or dealing with the public.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or experience.
• Medical supply experience.
• Recent experience in processing surgical instruments/equipment in all specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble clean instruments into specialized sets.
• Package or wrap instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain an inventory of sterile supplies on core carts.
• Rotate in all specialty stations, including Decontam and Sterilizers.
• Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments after surgery cases are completed.
