A leading healthcare organization in Ohio is seeking a dedicated individual for a medical processing role. Responsibilities include maintaining and preparing instruments, ensuring sterility, and responding to patient care requests. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma and be equipped with interpersonal skills to thrive in a team environment.
Performs all aspects of processing functions to support the needs of the unit.
Accountabilities:
Education: High School Diploma
Skills: Requires on the job training to learn technical procedures and to become familiar with a broad range of medical surgical items. Must be able to understand directions and be able to communicate and respond to inquiries. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to move about center and between workstations.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals, heat, and fumes
- Must be able to move, lift and/or carry materials and equipment weighing up to 10 lbs., 15% of the time; 20 lbs. 10% of the time; 30 lbs. 2% of the time; and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs., 1% of the time.
