Dulaney Eye Institute in Towson, MD, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support ASC operations. The role ensures infection control, proper sterilization, and efficient supply handling to aid physicians and nurses in delivering patient care.

Training will cover ASC practices and system procedures. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1–5 years’ experience, and be able to travel within the network.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience in sterile processing or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret doctor notes.
• Willingness to travel to network offices.

Responsabilités

• Extensive knowledge of infection control, hazardous waste disposal and emergency preparedness.
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear to reduce delays during procedures.
• Fulfill supply requests efficiently.
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and medical devices.
• Operate decontamination and sterilization equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with care team.
• Participate in quality assurance programs.
