Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Sterile Processing Technician, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will:

  1. Disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize and store procedure trays, instruments, equipment, and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
  2. Complete requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assist in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory

Qualifications include:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required
  3. Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  4. At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred
  5. Must be able to lift, pull, and push at up to 25 lbs. preferred

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 8 hours per day, evening flex shift (3 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend, Holiday rotation)

Able to work night shift when needed

Pay Range: $18.55 - $26.42

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as: United States of America (Non-Exempt)
