Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Nassau is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the full-time Sterile Processing Department at Nassau. The role runs 12:30pm to 9:00pm, Monday-Friday, supporting sterilization and instrument reassembly to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include decontaminating instruments, wrapping sets, and prioritizing duties while adhering to regulatory protocols. Requires High School diploma and CRCST or CSPDT certification.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years instrument experience.
• 1-2 years surgical instrumentation experience.
• Linen processing experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

Responsibilities

• Understand principles of sterilization.
• Wrap instruments/linen properly and select supplies for sterilization.
• Able to prioritize duties.
• Decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays.
