Job summary

Memorial Hermann Park Ten Surgery Center in Littleton, CO, seeks an immediate full-time Sterile Processing Technician to care for and maintain surgical instrumentation and set up supplies for surgery cases.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, completes a Sterile Processing Certification Program, and has 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience with various sterilizers. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Sterile Processing Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands steam/gravity sterilizer and Sterrad.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians.

Required Skills
