Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a sterile processing technician for St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN. The role covers 32 hours weekly on day/evening/night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations, and a $3,000 sign-on incentive with a 2-year commitment.

Tech I/II wage ranges apply with CRCST certification required for Tech II. You'll reprocess surgical instruments, maintain sterile stock across units, and support operating room safety.

Qualifications

• No educational requirements exist for this role.
• Certification as CRCST is required for Tech II within hire period.

Responsibilities

• Reprocess reusable surgical instruments and patient care equipment for surgery and nursing units.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are clean, sterile, and ready for use.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with PPE and safety protocols.
