FMOL Health in Louisiana seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, assemble and inspect instruments, operate steam autoclaves, and perform testing under supervision. You will maintain records and help restock supplies to ensure safe patient care.
Responsibilities include cleaning and organizing instrument trays, recording test results, monitoring for equipment wear, and reporting issues. The role supports infection control and quality/safety programs within the Sterile Processing
Decontaminates, assembles and inspects equipment and instruments, accurately operates sterilizers, and performs biological and integrator testing while maintaining record keeping systems under direct supervision and guidance from the Supervisor. The Sterile Processing Technician rotates and restocks sterile supplies in accordance with infection control standards in an effort to ensure a safe and reliable atmosphere for patient care.
