Qualifications

• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or equivalent certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Assemble case carts with consumables and instrumentation.
• Clean and decontaminate instruments; inspect and arrange instrument sets.
• Maintain sterile environment across departments.

In this position, you'll ensure that all instruments are sterile, which will help maintain a safe environment for our patients.Key Responsibilities:The Sterile Processing Tech shall be knowledgeable and implement the decontamination, preparing and sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment.Assembles case carts containing consumable supplies and instrumentation.Cleans/decontaminates surgical instruments.Identifies and assembles multiple types of surgical instruments and instrument sets.Inspects instruments, replaces or send for repairs.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED2 years experience in sterile processingCertified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or equivalent certificationBasic Life Support (BLS)The pay range for this position is $21.96 - $32.94.
