Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the 8-hour Evening Shift. You will ensure the safety and readiness of medical instruments through decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization processes to support surgical services and patient care.

You will perform routine inventory checks, restock supplies, and coordinate with hospital departments to maintain a steady flow of sterilized instruments.

A Day in the Life of a Sterile Processing Technician

In the role of a Sterile Processing Technician, you will ensure the safety and readiness of medical instruments and equipment through meticulous decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization processes. Your daily responsibilities include performing routine inventory checks, restocking supplies, and ensuring effective stock rotation. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with surgical services and other hospital departments to maintain a seamless supply chain of sterilized instruments. You\'ll utilize specialized tracking software to manage instrumentation needs and anticipate requirements for surgical cases.
