Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in sterile processing or related field.
• One year of education above high school with healthcare courses related to SPS.
• English language proficiency per VA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and cleaning of reusable medical equipment (RME).
• Prepare and sterilize items using approved methods (steam, Sterrad, Steris).
• Inspect, assemble, and package RME for sterilization and storage.
• Maintain knowledge of SOPs and complete daily process checks.
