Responsibilities

• Cleans, sterilizes and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
• Assembles surgical instruments, trays, etc.
• Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linens and a variety of supplies such as surgical packs, treatment trays and the like using steam or gas sterilizer.
• Prepares packs of supplies and wraps, labels and seals same.
