Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington is seeking a PRN Sterile Processing Tech to support OR teams with clean, properly sterilized instruments in Arlington, TX.

Candidate must have CRCST or equivalent, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of Instrument Room experience, with familiarity with steam/gravity sterilizers, Steris, washers, and ultrasound units. Flexible PRN schedule and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as Instrument Room Technician preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers and operating room instrumentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.
• Ensures instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized and prepared for procedures.
• Maintains inventory and organizes instrument trays for efficient OR setup.

Sterile Processing Tech at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent

Licensure/Certification:

• CRCST or equivalent required.

Required Experience:

• 1 years of experience as Instrument Room Technician.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operation room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer, Steris, washer sterilizer, and ultrasound unit.
